Silk Road Rising

Silk Road Rising is an organization centered around Asian service and creation through art with an emphasis on Middle-Eastern and Muslim experiences as well. Through the plethora of digital media, live theatre, and education they have provided, they have combated barriers to Asian representation in the media and many narratives. They hope to change outlooks and beliefs through conversation and policy change with the work they do in order to shine a light on the untold stories of many Asian populations. They have had many theatre productions including their EPIC showcase in January of 2020, video plays on polyculturalism, education initiatives, and even advocated through a Middle Eastern American Theatre Bill of Rights.
